15 Home Remedies to Cure Low Blood Pressure

Also known as hypotension, low blood pressure is when the pressure of your blood goes lower than what it is supposed to be. Such low values might cause dizziness, fainting, fatigue, nausea, difficulty breathing, blurred vision, palpitations, and cold, clammy skin.

The normal blood pressure is measured to be 120/80 mm Hg. When the pressure value is lower than this; it is unhealthy and risky to your health. A set value of 90/60 mm Hg or a reading lower than this accounts for hypotension and may trouble the functioning of your brain, kidneys and heart.

Home Remedies to Cure Low Blood Pressure

The salty saga

You can opt for energy drinks or just add a teaspoon of salt to a glass of plain water and gulp it down. This will increase your blood pressure in no time and will make you stable.

Coffee or cola

Drink a strong cup of coffee or a freshly opened cola to increase your blood pressure instantly. On a regular basis you can opt to have a cup of coffee for your breakfast and evening snack time. This as a routine will come handy in daily wellbeing.

Raisins raise it

This age old remedy works the best for increasing one’s blood pressure. Soak a handful of dried raisins in a cup of water the previous night. On an empty stomach, the next morning chew the soaked raisins and follow it up with the soaked water. This decoction will work wonders in keeping your pressure values at their best.

Basil’s holiness

We are talking about the holy basil leaves here. Basil is rich in vitamin C, magnesium, potassium, and pantothenic acid. Furthermore, it helps balance the mind and reduces stress. Therefore, extract the juice of 10-15 basil leaves, add a teaspoon of honey to it and be regular on this juice. Your pressure values will never go down.

In licorice lies the secret

Licorice root breaks down cortisol and supports healthy adrenalin function. It is also effective in curing chronic fatigue syndrome.
