15 Figs Health Benefits & Nutrition Facts

Fresh or the dried form, figs are your body’s friends. This fruit contains a lot of benefits for your hair, skin, body, digestive system, sexual organs and what not. It can rather be called the all-in-one fruit with immense health benefits. Now that you know figs are the best fruits, read about the specific benefits it can impart to you:

  • Chew a few fig plant leaves and you will be able to chase away bad breath. If you don’t let the leaves, consider snacking on the fresh fruit itself.
  • If you have a low sexual drive, soak a handful of dried figs in plain milk the previous night. Eat the soaked figs and follow it up with the milk you used for soaking the figs. This will gradually, but efficiently improve your sexual drive and keep sexual weakness at bay.
  • If you have kidney stones are you worry on it, then help is at hand. You can boil a handful of figs in water and drink the mixture once it has cooled down. Follow this at least for a month and then try scanning your kidney stones. To your surprise, you would notice that they are almost gone!
